Coverage built around how your business actually runs

Every line below is written and serviced by an agent who understands the exposure, not a generic online rate engine.

General Liability

Third-party injury, property damage, and advertising injury claims, the base layer for almost every business.

Learn more →

Business Owner's Policy

Property and liability bundled into one policy, the right fit for most storefronts, offices, and small operations.

Learn more →

Workers' Compensation

Required in Oregon and Washington once you have employees. We make sure your class codes are actually right.

Learn more →

Commercial Auto

Company vehicles, work trucks, and hired/non-owned auto exposure for employees driving their own car for work.

Learn more →

Professional Liability (E&O)

Covers claims of negligence, errors, or missed deadlines in the professional services you deliver to clients.

Learn more →

Cyber Liability

Data breach response, ransomware, and liability from customer data that ends up somewhere it shouldn't.

Learn more →

Commercial Property

Your building, equipment, inventory, and signage, covered against fire, storm, theft, and vandalism.

Learn more →

Umbrella / Excess Liability

Extra limits on top of your other policies when a claim runs bigger than your base coverage can absorb.

Learn more →

Inland Marine (Tools & Equipment)

Covers tools, equipment, and materials that move between jobsites, where a standard property policy stops.

Learn more →

Employment Practices Liability

Covers claims from employees over wrongful termination, discrimination, or harassment allegations.

Learn more →

Builders Risk

Coverage for a structure while it's under construction or major renovation, before it's ready to insure normally.

Industries we insure

Coverage shaped by what you actually operate

Every industry carries different exposure. We write policies for these day in and day out. Don't see yours? Ask us anyway.

Cards marked "Photo" are placeholders. We'll drop in real jobsite or client photos once licensed or supplied.

Personal & life insurance

Home, auto, and life. With the same agent.

Most clients start with us on the business side, then move their personal coverage over once they realize we actually pick up.

Life insurance

Coverage for the people who depend on you

Term for a fixed need, permanent for lifelong protection, or final expense to keep costs off your family. We'll help you figure out which one actually fits.

Term Life

Coverage for a set period, often the years a mortgage, growing kids, or a business loan actually need protecting.

Learn more →

Whole Life

Permanent coverage that lasts your lifetime and builds cash value you can borrow against later.

Learn more →

Universal Life

Permanent coverage with flexible premiums and death benefit as your income or needs change over time.

Learn more →

Final Expense

A smaller policy sized to cover funeral and end-of-life costs, so your family isn't left with the bill.

Why work with us

Independent means we work for you, not one carrier

We shop it, not just quote it

As an independent agency we compare across 100+ carriers instead of selling one company's only option.

A real person handles renewals and claims

The agent who wrote your policy is who you call when something happens, not a queue.

Built for growing businesses

We revisit coverage as you add employees, vehicles, or locations, instead of leaving you underinsured.

Premium financing

You don't have to pay the whole premium at once

Most commercial policies can be financed and spread into monthly payments instead of one large lump sum due at binding.

Keep cash flow in the business

Instead of one large payment tying up working capital, spread the premium into predictable monthly installments.

No large upfront hit

A typical down payment plus monthly terms replaces a single full-premium payment due at policy binding.

Fast setup

Financing is typically arranged the same time as binding the policy, so it doesn't slow anything down.

A self-service calculator is coming soon so you can estimate your own payment plan. For now, ask us when you get your quote.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I start a claim?

Call us directly at (503) 245-1234. We'll walk the claim in with you rather than hand you off to a call center.

What states are you licensed in?

We're currently licensed in Oregon and Washington, with Arizona licensing in progress. If you're outside these states, reach out and we'll let you know our timeline.

Do you work with businesses that don't have coverage yet?

Yes. A large part of what we do is helping new or growing businesses figure out what coverage they actually need, not just renew what they already have.

How is an independent agency different from going direct to a carrier?

A direct carrier can only sell you their own policies. As an independent agency, we compare your risk across 100+ carriers and place it with whoever actually fits, often at a better price.

Can I bundle business, personal, and life coverage?

Yes, and many clients do. It's often more convenient and can qualify for multi-policy pricing depending on the carrier.

What information do I need to get a quote?

For business coverage: what the business does, number of employees, payroll estimate, and current carrier if you have one. For personal lines: the property or vehicle details and your current policy if you're switching. We can also just get started with a phone call if that's easier.

How much does business insurance actually cost?

It depends on your industry, payroll, revenue, and claims history, so there's no honest flat number we can give you here. That's exactly why we shop it across carriers instead of quoting off a generic calculator.

Can I make changes to my policy mid-term?

Yes. Adding a vehicle, a driver, an employee, or a piece of equipment mid-year is common and usually a quick call or email to update.

What's the difference between a BOP and General Liability alone?

General Liability covers third-party injury and property damage claims. A Business Owner's Policy bundles that with commercial property coverage, usually at a better combined rate than buying each separately.

Do you offer payment plans instead of paying the full premium upfront?

Yes, through premium financing, most commercial policies can be spread into monthly payments instead of one lump sum. See the Premium Financing section above for details.

Insurance horror stories

The claim nobody saw coming

Illustrative, composite scenarios based on common claims patterns, not real clients. The coverage gaps, though, are very real.

INCIDENT 01

The $180K Grease Fire

A fryer catches fire overnight and takes out the kitchen. The building's covered, but the walk-in, the hood system, and six figures of equipment weren't scoped for replacement cost.

The fix: Commercial Property with equipment scoped at replacement cost
INCIDENT 02

One Wet Floor, One Lawsuit

A customer slips near an unmarked spill. Medical bills turn into a lawsuit for lost wages and pain and suffering, and the business has no liability policy to answer it.

The fix: General Liability
INCIDENT 03

The Subcontractor Nobody Insured

An uninsured sub falls off a roof mid-job. The general contractor gets named in the suit anyway, because nobody verified the sub's coverage before the work started.

The fix: Workers' Comp + GL, with subcontractor certificates on file
INCIDENT 04

Locked Out by Ransomware

The office network gets encrypted overnight. No backup, no cyber policy, and a five-figure ransom paid out of pocket just to get the files back.

The fix: Cyber Liability
INCIDENT 05

The Errand That Wasn't Covered

An employee runs a supply-run in their own car and gets into a wreck. The business's commercial auto policy never covered vehicles it doesn't own.

The fix: Commercial Auto with hired & non-owned coverage
INCIDENT 06

Sued After a Termination

A performance-based firing turns into a wrongful termination claim. Legal defense costs alone run well past what the business had set aside.

The fix: Employment Practices Liability
